So me and some fellow associates found out that they were not doing everything quit legit and we decided to sue them for all the money we put in minus what ever we made. As it turned out we received only a fraction of what we put in by one of the Business Partners and the owner/founder and his family fled to another country where we could not get to them.
This was not the way I envisioned it would go. As I have heard this happens all the time in the Business world. I wish I could have all my money back but on the other hand I learned some valuable lessons. One would be to do your research on any company that you would get involved in. Find out what complaints they have against them and if those would be something that would make you too suspicious to feel comfortable joining them. I did do the research at first but after I joined and started a Business I did not continue to check up on them. Later is when this Business started doing things that were not legal and that is when they started deceiving everyone because they did not disclose this to their clients (us).
The other thing in which I am not proud of saying is that I was greedy. I wanted as much Stock Options as I could get and all I saw was becoming a millionaire when they went public, which never happened. Please be careful because people use this, should I say, negative trait that we all have. Please listen to your life partner and do everything in moderation. Work hard but do not put all you have into hock for it. Greed is a powerful influence and it can control you. It is like a drug and you cannot know its consequences until after the damage is done.
Now I am not given to “you need to do it now or you will miss out”.
I am not going to put a most of my money or go into debt to start a business.
I am not going to ignore my spouse when she cautions me to stop here.
I am not going to spend all the profits I make, I will save some for that rainy day.
I will not ignore my own plans and get caught up in making money.
I will invest in myself and learn something new and grow.
I will solve my personal problems so I can get on with life and my future security.
I will do what I like doing and am good at for my Business.
I will find people who know how to do what I need and make them a partner.
I will stop doing a Business if I do not make any money after one year or find help.
I will check up on the Business I joined or my Business Partners every few months
I will not be Greedy and will limit how much money I will put out to earn money.
